Warm up in the nature center and enjoy the company of friends and fellow creative neighbors as you learn the basics of acrylic painting. Local artist Ellen Mansfield will provide instruction and support in American Sign Language during this social activity. The image will be selected via email to registered participants.
Each participant will receive a pre-sketched canvas to take home at the completion of the class. Ellen will walk you through all the steps needed to create the picture and show you how to use brushes and paints.
Please feel free to bring your own peanut-free snacks. You are also welcomed to bring your own drinks, including alcohol, to this event. Please bring your ID. Class will be held in the evening from 6-8 pm. A certified sign language interpreter will attend this event.
