Simon Bamford BSc (Hons) DipSurv MRICS is based in our Bristol office. He is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with restructuring and insolvency professionals, accountants, private clients, asset-based lenders and advisors, mainly in the South West and Wales region. He is also responsible for the management and reporting of machinery & equipment valuations, and for the disposal of businesses and assets, by way of private treaty and online auction.

Simon has 10 years’ experience in valuation and asset disposal and has worked with the big four accountancy firms and the majority of insolvency practices within the UK, along with asset-based lenders and private clients.

Before joining Gordon Brothers, Simon worked for GoIndustry Dovebid within their Consultancy team, progressing to Associate Director during his time there.

Simon is a Chartered Surveyor and a RICS registered valuer, and has prior experience in the logistics sector. Simon has a broad range of experience of valuing across diverse industries including printing & packaging, construction, transport & logistics, semiconductor & high technology and the food & drinks industry. He predominantly provides valuations within the restructuring and lending sectors, but has also provided valuations for balance sheet and purchase price allocation purposes.
