Vax’ildan, twin brother of Vex’ahlia, is a cunning Half-Elf Thief who navigates the shadows with ease as a member of the legendary adventuring party Vox Machina. Shown here as a high-leveled hero, this figure captures his calculated approach to any challenge. The wings of his Deathwalker’s Ward curl protectively around him as Vax'ildan moves to deliver a sneak attack from his daggers — Whisper and the Flame Dagger are clutched in his hands, with a third blade, the Poison Dagger, stashed at his hip.
The Vax'ildan - Vox Machina Statue features a hexagonal faux-stone figure base engraved with the Vox Machina monogram, complementing his other teammates in the collection. This figure is just beautiful. When the display lights hits those wings, the blue colors just pops out amonst all the black. The rest of the figure have so many little details, that you discover when you look at it closely. I can only recommend the critital role line.
Vax is a very important character to me, from not just VM, but from all the CritRole and related campaigns. Thus, having his statue figure was the of utmost importance, and having said figure truly embody Vax, was tantamount import. This figure IS Vax, and he looks over all from his perch, with great realism. It’s very clear that Sideshow cared greatly about making certain the integrity of these characters was brought through in these figures. The only issue I had, was with a broken dagger sheath, which Sideshow replaced immediately, with no issues, whatsoever. The piece was in the mail to me, and arrived within a week. I’m beyond thrilled with the quality, and with the customer service.
