June 1, 11 a.m. - Brinkley Community Park

Join Arkansas PBS in Brinkley for a free, fun family reading event as part of Read to Succeed, an initiative to provide literacy resources and encourage family engagement. Come to Brinkley Community Park at 1500 Weatherby Drive in Brinkley, AR on June 1 at 11 a.m. to enjoy lunch, a fun activity and story time featuring "Giraffes Can't Dance" by Giles Andreae. All families will receive a take-home bag filled with literary resources, including a book.

Join Arkansas PBS in Fayetteville for a free, fun family reading event as part of Read to Succeed, an initiative to provide literacy resources and encourage family engagement. Come to the Fayetteville Public Library on June 7 at 10 a.m. to enjoy lunch, a fun activity and story time featuring "Giraffes Can't Dance" by Giles Andreae. All families will receive a take-home bag filled with literary resources, including a book.

FREE EVENT: Family Day featuring PBS KIDS characters and family activities

October 12, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The Jones Center

Springdale, Arkansas

Join Arkansas PBS for the popular Family Day community event in Springdale on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free public event encourages community spirit through family-friendly fun, entertainment, and educational activities. It will be held at the Jones Center in Springdale, 922 E Emma Ave, Springdale, AR 72764. Families are encouraged to RSVP here.

NWA PBS Family Day will feature PBS costume characters, free snacks for children, live entertainment, hands-on kid’s activities and games, giveaways and prizes, face painting and a PBS pop-up shop.

Special guests for the day include Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George, Daniel Tiger and more! Families are invited to meet and take photos with the characters.

Arkansas PBS is proud to partner with the Northwest Arkansas Foodbank at this event to gather donations of after-school and weekend snacks for families who struggle with food insecurity. We are asking Family Day attendees to bring non-perishable kid-friendly food items as a donation. Suggested items include granola bars, juice boxes, gummy/fruit snacks, noodle cups and raisins.

Join Arkansas PBS for the popular Family Day community event on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free public event encourages community spirit through family-friendly fun, entertainment and educational activities. The event will be held at the statewide network headquarters, 350 S. Donaghey Ave., Conway. Families are encouraged to RSVP here.
