Motorists are advised a two-year bridge rehabilitation project continues next week on Routes 6 and 2005 (Main Street) in Tioga County.

There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound from Exit 199 (Scott) to Exit 201 (East Benton) in Lackawanna County for sign repair. Work will take place Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that barrier removal will occur on Sunday night, May 12, on Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Philadelphia under a $36.8 million project to resurface and repair nearly five miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps, and more than 20 bridges.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 19 (Mount Morris Road) will close Monday, May 13, between Gordon Hill Road and Route 513 (Tower Hill Road) in Whiteley Township, Greene County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reminds travelers that closures are planned this weekend, May 10-13, for eastbound and westbound Route 30 and the Route 222 bridges spanning Route 30 at the Route 30/Route 222 Interchange Improvement Project in Lancaster County.

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that stormwater improvements are planned next week on Boot Road in West Whiteland and West Goshen townships, Chester County, under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that work to replace a failing drainage pipe along Bee Line Highway (Route 255) in Sandy Township, Clearfield County, is set to begin Monday, May 13. Replacing the pipe will prevent damage to the pavement surface and the area underneath as well as enhance driver safety by reducing the potential for flooding.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) placed a radar-controlled speed display board yesterday on Route 219 in Lafayette Township, McKean County. The board will be apparent to drivers traveling North into a bridge preservation work zone where the speed limit is currently reduced to 45 miles per hour. It is intended to remind drivers to obey the posted speed limit and aid in curbing speeding in the work zone.

​Tomorrow, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Lehigh County will join with safety partners to host a media event to honor lives lost and urge work zone safety. The PennDOT Workers’ Memorial, which pays tribute to the 90 PennDOT workers who have been killed in the line of duty since 1970, will be on display from May 8 through May 10.

PennDOT District 11 is announcing the 10-day closure of the ramp carrying traffic from Route 51 (Coraopolis Road) to northbound I-79 in Robinson Township, Allegheny County will begin, Friday, May 10 through Tuesday, May 21 weather permitting.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that its Driver License Center located at 960 Rostraver Road in Belle Vernon will be closed for facility repairs beginning on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
