    You can create a memorable experience for children in foster care and their families. For each $10 donated, you are giving a child a full Museum experience which includes the all three floors of the Museum, and a ride on the Carousel.

    At the Grand Rapids Public Museum, we believe that every child deserves to create special memories that will last a lifetime. That’s why we partner with organizations such as Bethany Christian Services, Catholic Charities West Michigan, CASA Kent County, DA Blodgett St. Johns, Ottawa County DHHS, Ronald McDonald House, Samaritas, and Wellspring Lutheran Services to distribute tickets to children and their foster families throughout West Michigan. By sponsoring these tickets, you are helping us create unforgettable experiences at the Museum. During their visit, the children and their foster families can enjoy a ride on our 1928 Spillman Carousel, take a stroll through the Streets of Old Grand Rapids, and marvel at the juvenile Sturgeon, our living dinosaurs. They can also explore our traveling exhibits and create lasting memories together.

    In 2022, our generous donors funded 739 tickets for children in foster care and their families, and this year our goal is to serve 800 children.
