Carnival, other events planned for USF Week on Sarasota-Manatee campus

A carnival will cap off a series of events commemorating USF Week, April 10-16, on the Sarasota-Manatee campus.

USF Week is an annual celebration of the university’s history and its ties with its community. A number of events are planned for the Sarasota-Manatee campus, including a bingo night; a luau marking the birthday of USF’s mascot, Rocky D. Bull; and the carnival featuring rides, food and games in the Sarasota-Manatee campus’s south parking lot.

Here’s the schedule of events for the Sarasota-Manatee campus:

  • Bingo Night 
    When: Monday, April 10, 6 - 8 p.m. 
    Where: FCCI Rotunda
  • Cooking Class 
    When: Tuesday, April 11, 6 p.m. 
    Where: University Walk Publix, 2875 University Parkway, Sarasota
  • Survivor! (play games for prizes) 
    When: Wednesday, April 12, noon - 3 p.m.
    Where: Campus Courtyard
  • Rocky's Birthday Luau 
    When: Thursday, April 13, noon to 3 p.m.
    Where: Campus Courtyard
  • USF Week Carnival
    When: Friday, April 14, 4 - 9 p.m.
    Where: South parking lot, USF Sarasota-Manatee campus
