Summerville, S.C. – EHG South, Incora Health, North 7th, Soil Economy, and Virtue Technologies were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Bricolage Dynamics, Borealis Global Advisory, Mainstage Gaming, and North 7th received new grant funding.

All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.

Borealis Global Advisory LLC received a $25,000 Project Development Fund Grant. The Blythewood-based fintech startup is a SaaS platform that saves significant time and money for money managers. The platform allows managers to invest globally by leveraging advanced algorithms and visualization tools that provide world-leading, real-time, and actionable country-level insights.

Bricolage Dynamics Inc. received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Liberty-based startup provides household waste collection services turning glass, otherwise bound for the landfill, into high-quality, sustainable sand for reuse in the local construction and landscaping industries.

EHG South Inc., DBA Momento Med, was accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Columbia-based startup provides a web application that allows providers to support HIV medicine management for large groups of patients in little time. The app combines pill reminders with motivational and educational text messages sent directly to the patient’s cell phone.

Incora Health Inc. was accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Greenville-based startup patented a smart earring that tracks biodata without interrupting the user’s activities or sleep. The wearable accurately tracks core body temperature using machine learning and artificial intelligence, which provides women with reliable biometrics to help meet their maternal and wellness goals.

Mainstage Gaming Network Inc. received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Rock Hill-based startup builds single platforms for organizations to create gaming events, tournaments, and leagues for gamers everywhere. The company is allowing organizations to create communities through inclusive and accessible opportunities in gaming.

North 7th Inc. was accepted as an SCRA Member Company and received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Greenville-based startup provides virtual tours and marketing tools for the real estate market. Their services include photos, videos (3D available), aerial videos, virtual staging, and 2D and 3D floor plans.

Soil Economy LLC was accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Greenville-based startup, from Bob Jones University, helps carbon registries and developers standardize and improve how they measure carbon levels in soil. Their research team provides a unified standard to verify and sell carbon credits.

Virtue Technologies Inc., DBA VirtueScript, was accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Chapin-based startup developed an app that helps post-acute providers better manage medication services for their patients in an easier, simpler way. VirtueScript is also designed to lower pharmacy reimbursement costs by improving staff efficiencies, reducing waste, and increasing patient satisfaction.

SCRA welcomes these new Member Companies and congratulates those that received funding.

Grant funding is made possible, in part, by the Industry Partnership Fund contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
