Professor Edward Lynch
Head of Dentistry | University of Warwick

Since hosting its first seminar in 1995, the Sterling Dental Centre has been providing the dental community with seminars and CPD events for almost twenty years. The centre was accredited as a Regional Outreach Centre for the University of Warwick from 2009-2015.

This achievement was celebrated with a seminar hosted by the University’s Head of Dentistry, Professor Edward Lynch, who is also a GDC registered Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics and Prosthodontics and a BUPA Consultant in Oral Surgery. Also present was Dr. Maher Almasri, Academic Director of MSc programmes with Supervised Clinical Training.

The seminar by Professor Lynch signposted the significant academic growth of Sterling Dental Centre and was well received by all who attended. Professor Lynch was impressed by future plans for the centre.

Having been established in 1994, the centre has constantly delivered high quality training for dental professionals. It plans to continue this high standard by hosting a range of seminars and hands on courses in collaboration with the University of Warwick.
