MONTICELLO, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Monticello Student-Athletes engage with many different schools and businesses around the area.

The Boll Weevil Football program interacts with Drew Central many mornings for Good Morning Club! Where they help kids out of their cars and greet them at the entrance before school.

 

On Friday, the UAM student-athletes celebrated a successful fundraiser with both Monticello Intermediate school and Monticello Elementary School on Friday afternoon.

Starting November 14-18, to show their appreciation for UAM athletes opening doors for their students each morning, both Elementary schools ran a fundraiser competitions among the classes to bring in the most cases of water. As a reward for collecting the most, the top two classes in each school were given a free period spent talking, hanging out, and playing games with UAM athletes.

The conclusion of the fundraiser showed great success as the schools were able to gather 577 cases of water for UAM Athletes!
