About Safety Net
This mini-documentary features Florida State University's Collegiate Recovery Program, LIFT, to show the impact of programs like these in higher education spaces. This film will be used as a tool to help educate audiences, empower future leaders, and encourage other institutions to create their own recovery programs.

About One Second at A Time
This docu-drama shares Christine Ortoll's struggle for recovery, told from her own journals and by those who supported her, including family, close friends, and professionals. This production will make a difference in helping those who suffer from substance abuse, mental illness, and their loved ones.
About Mike Ortoll
Executive Producer, Mike Ortoll is a proud FSU alumnus and generous supporter of Florida State's own collegiate recovery program, LIFT. After the loss of his daughter, Christine, to a long battle with substance use disorder and mental health, Mike has committed himself to raising awareness about this disease and helping others. These films are meant to be both educational and inspiring so that audiences feel empowered to find the support they and others need and to move forward with hope.
