Washington, DC: In response to the Senate’s confirmation of David Uhlmann as Assistant Administrator for Enforcement and Compliance Assurance of the Environmental Protection Agency, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) issued the following statement from VP of Federal Policy, Matthew Davis:

“Congratulations to David Uhlmann on his confirmation to lead the EPA Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance. This position is vitally important to ensuring that the EPA holds polluters accountable when communities are harmed by their actions. Having already served as Chief of the Environmental Crimes Section at the Department of Justice, Uhlman is extremely well-qualified for this position, and we look forward to continuing to  work together to protect clean air and clean water and fight for safer communities.”
