Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is Southern Nevada’s treatment center for children battling cancer and rare diseases. We are dedicated to advancing the treatment and prevention of childhood diseases through clinical expertise, cutting-edge research, and innovative approaches. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and an independent division of Roseman University of Health Sciences, we understand the importance of caring for all aspects of our patients’ care. Our approach extends beyond merely treating a diagnosis, we prioritize the unique needs of each individual child. We are the community leader in the research and treatment of childhood cancer and rare diseases and our vision is focused on providing the highest-quality life-saving care and services to our community’s most vulnerable population.

We understand as a parent or caretaker, your primary concern is undoubtedly the well-being of your child, and this responsibility takes on an even greater significance when your child is confronted with a potentially catastrophic diagnosis. We know that managing your child’s condition can feel overwhelming and the uncertainty that accompanies such a diagnosis can cast a large shadow.

By completing this survey, you play a crucial role in improving support for individuals living with rare diseases in Nevada. We urge Nevadans affected by rare diseases, including caregivers and family members, to participate in the survey to help us gain insights into demographics, disease progression, treatment availability, quality of care, and other essential resources.

The survey aims to understand the experiences of individuals, caregivers, and family members affected by rare diseases, especially regarding accessing care and navigating the healthcare system in Nevada.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and either reside in Nevada or receive medical care in the state. All information provided is anonymous and confidential. Your responses will not be linked to your identity, and survey findings will only be reported in aggregate form to inform policies and services related to rare diseases in Nevada. Participation is voluntary, and there is no financial compensation involved.

Charity Care Plan

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation believes all patients deserve the chance for recovery and to receive the latest, most current treatment protocols for a variety of specialized diseases. We see first- hand, that the outcome of many children facing a life-threatening health crisis is often determined by the amount of their medical coverage or lack thereof.

Our Charity Care Plan ensures families who are unable to pay for treatment or are uninsured or underinsured will still get the medical care they need. Consistent with our mission that no child be deprived of care based on a family’s inability to pay for services, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation strives to ensure that the financial capacity of people who need healthcare services does not prevent them from seeking or receiving care.
