In August 2020, Atlantic Magazine profiled Warnock’s 2020 campaign for Georgia U.S. Senate. The article noted that Warnock was running as an “activist preacher” who “understands how to cloak the radical nature of his message,” and that he “opposes all abortion restrictions.”1
Warnock even opposes laws designed to protect women’s health and safety in abortion facilities. In June 2020, he praised the Supreme Court’s Decision to strike down a Louisiana law which required abortionists to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of where they perform an abortion.2
