Ballet Workshops for Scouts
Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023 | 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.
Bring your troop to a performance of The Nutcracker and kick it off with a pre-show ballet class at the Benedum Center! No dance experience is required for this fun, 45-minute beginners’ workshop. Warm up, learn basic ballet steps and try out modified choreography from The Nutcracker. Appropriate for girl scouts and boy scouts.
The details!
- Performance tickets required: Troops must purchase 8 or more tickets to the Dec. 10, 12 p.m. performance of The Nutcracker to be eligible to attend the workshop. The workshop takes place prior to the performance at the Benedum Center.
- Class fee: $10 per scout (in addition to ticket purchase)
- Patches: Availability pending
- 30 students maximum – spaces go quickly, register soon!
- Registration and Medical / Media Release Form are required from all scouts. Registered troop leaders will receive further information.
