Stories of Hope

Montana's Story
Montana started her journey with us and after 7 months in our program she left House of Hope. Since leaving House of Hope, she was met with with a lot of challenges. She did not graduate from high school, she became a first-time single mom, and she was on her own. She wanted to give up. Instead she made a phone call to the place she had left years ago. House of Hope always answers. The relationship never ends. God’s work continues.

Testimonies

Words could not fully express the love and gratitude in my heart for House of Hope York, PA. God has profoundly changed the course of not just our daughter’s life, but our family also.

My family has reconciled, and I have chosen life. It has not been easy, but HOHYP gave me the strength, spiritual guidance and the tools to begin a healthy, loving life.
Graduate from House of Hope
We reached out for help with our daughter after she had been dealing with depression, self harm and acting out after some bullying and also being taken advantage of sexually. Being part of the House of Hope York family taught me a lot about how to be a better parent, wife and most importantly, how to be a better woman of God. Through what I learned in the parenting classes and counseling, I was able to better align myself with what God's plan and purpose was for me. My path back to God helped me to allow Him to work within my marriage, family and life.
