The Engine Technology Forum evolved from the widely known Diesel Technology Forum which was founded in 2000. Members include leaders in internal combustion engines, fuels, and technologies.
Since its inception more than 125 years ago, the internal combustion engine has evolved to meet the needs of a growing world. These engines are powered by petroleum-based fuels like gasoline, diesel and natural gas and renewable biobased fuels. Together they deliver efficient and reliable sources of power to build global economies, enable personal mobility, production of food, and the movement of goods and exchange of trade in every corner of the world.
