Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge deck repair will occur at night next week on southbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia under a $37.4 million project to perform high-priority repairs on 27 I-95 bridges in the City, to maintain the functionality, safety, and mobility of the structures along this critical corridor.

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that utility work will expand next week to include daytime and nighttime construction on three state highways under a $14.2 million project to improve travel and safety at the Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike), Route 463 (Horsham Road/Cowpath Road), and Business U.S. 202 (Doylestown Road) Intersection, commonly referred to as the Five-Points Intersection, in Montgomery Township, Montgomery County.

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving will occur at night next week on Interstate 476 under a $63.7 million project to resurface, repair and improve nearly 17 miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps and bridges from I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, to I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that a team of students from Norwin High school in Irwin, Westmoreland County, has been selected as the statewide winner for the 2024 Innovations Challenge. Mentored by Thomas Harskowitch, a teacher at Norwin High School, team members included Troy Horvath and Noah Wilson.

Motorists are advised that a High Friction Service Treatment (HFST) project begins this weekend on Route 15 in Lewis Township and Route 2008 (Four Mile Drive) in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County.

A four-year reconstruction project continues next week on Route 199 in Sayre and Athens boroughs, Bradford County. The 2.6-mile project is located .44-mile north of the intersection with Route 1056 (Front Street) in Athens Borough to the intersection with Interstate 17 (Southern Tier Expressway) at the New York state line in Sayre Borough. The project begins at the New York state line and works south.
