A values-driven, award-winning, and visionary global leader, passionate about innovation and strategy, global affairs and geopolitics, digital economy, sustainability, and emerging technologies nexus.
Dr Salampasis helps business, political, civic, and other leaders of society understand how disruptive technologies transform them and derive the highest value by co-shaping long-term and sustainable business strategies that integrate different contexts, novel business models, capabilities, and ecosystem trends.
Dr Salampasis has an interdisciplinary background with exposure to international and multicultural environments in the private and public sectors, academia, international organizations, non-profit and military, adds expert advisory skills, diplomatic and political acumen with a unique ability to connect, actively engage, inspire, and influence domestic and international C-level stakeholders. He offers deep domain expertise, innovative thinking, knowledge assets, strategic analysis, and a global professional network, along with, research, advocacy, and training skills.
Dr Salampasis publishes in peer-reviewed journals and books, is an international sought-after keynote speaker with a strong international media presence and has created Australia’s first postgraduate FinTech course.
Dr Salampasis' areas of specialist expertise, research, teaching, industry engagement, policy and advisory work revolve around the emergence and development of FinTech-enabled business models, Blockchain for business and public sector, corporate sustainability and human rights due diligence, synthetic identity fraud and scams, quantum computing for financial services and public sector, neuromorphic computing for business and the public sector, along with the relevant global regulatory, ethical and policy interventions.
Dr Salampasis is regularly providing forward-thinking insights and sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice, furnishing strategic guidance by synthesizing analysis and insights from research across various innovation and emerging technological domains.
