Today, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) partnered with the Highway Safety Network, AAA East Central, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA Traffic Injury Prevention Project (TIPP), State Farm, Pennsylvania State Police, Washington County Drug & Alcohol, and California High School SADD Students to promote teen driver safety at an expo held at California High School in Washington County. Before the expo, the partners hosted a mock crash to educate teen drivers on the consequences of unsafe driving behaviors.

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that utility work will continue at night next week under a $14.2 million project to improve travel and safety at the Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike), Route 463 (Horsham Road/Cowpath Road), and Business U.S. 202 (Doylestown Road) Intersection, commonly referred to as the Five-Points Intersection in Montgomery Township.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) updated drivers on the schedule for its South Atherton Street (Route 3014) project that stretches from Curtin Road to just north of Westerly Parkway in State College. The contractor plans to implement a new traffic pattern with the center (turning) lane closed and traffic passing through the work zone via the open right (travel) lane in each direction on Tuesday, May 21.

The week of Monday, May 20, 2024, Route 199 southbound traffic will be switched to the northbound lane while the contractor, Kriger Construction, Inc., begins reconstruction of the southbound lane between Pine and Vanderbilt Streets.
