Tons of Fun at Ridge Road Recreational Park

Ridge Road Recreational Park features multiple ball fields, courts for tennis and volleyball, an in-line hockey rink, as well as picnic shelters and a playground on 56 acres of land. Don’t forget to bring your furry friends because there’s also an enclosed area for dogs to play!

Courts

The basketball court, tennis court, and sand volleyball court can be used on a first-come, first-served basis at Ridge Road Recreational Park. Additionally, there are various athletic fields available for permitted events.

Athletic Fields

Ridge Road Recreational Park features both a soccer/football field with lights and a soccer/football field without lights. All fields for baseball and softball contain lights.

All fields at this park are permitted for games only.

Contact ParkPermits@MontgomeryParks.org for applications and guidelines for use.

Playground and Trails

A playground sits between Shelters A and B and has a permanent restroom. Restrooms are also available at the in-line hockey rink and at the picnic shelters from April through October. A network of hard and natural surface trails can accommodate hikers and bikers.

Dog Park

The half-acre, fenced dog park provides a place for county residents and their dogs to play. There is shaded seating available as well as trash bins and grassy areas for furry friends to run and romp in.

Unless otherwise posted, the facility is open for use from sunrise to sunset.

Please remember that all dogs should be on a leash before entering and exiting the park. All dogs must be current on all vaccinations as required by state or local law. There is no fee to use Montgomery Parks’ Dog Parks and dog permits are not required.

Dog park visitors should read and follow Montgomery Parks’ Dog Park Rules and Regulations.
