Southwestern Sliders

These Southwestern Sliders from Chef Josh Capon are sure to be a hit at your next tailgate party.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef ( form into 2 oz sliders) 
  • 1 Jar ZIA Hatch Green Chile salsa 
  • 1 lime 
  • 1 cup mayo (mix with 2 TBSP of Green Chile Salsa and Juice of 1 lime) 
  • 8 slices Pepper Jack Cheese 
  • 4 Plum Tomatoes sliced thin 
  • 1 Head romaine lettuce Shredded 
  • 1 pack Martin's Party Rolls

Cooking:

  1. Season Patties with S&P 
  2. Sear on a hot skillet for 2 minutes, flip and place a slice of cheese on top. 
  3. When Cheese is melted and internal temperature reads 160 degrees, remove from the heat
  4. Top each slider with a TBSP of Salsa, followed by a slice of tomato and shredded lettuce. 
  5. Serve on a toasted bun with a tsp of Chile mayo on each side and serve immediately
