Additional Restrictions Grant Fund (for domestic & commercial based businesses and Tameside Taxi licence holders)

The final round closed for applications at 11:59pm on Monday 31st May 2021.

Support grants for businesses affected by Tier 2 type restrictions; Tier 2 (High) and Tier 3 (Very High) restrictions and National Lockdown.
This information below is a summary and is subject to change as Government Guidance is updated, Frequently Asked Questions are released and local schemes are designed.

On 5 January 2021, the Chancellor announced a £4.6 billion fund for grants to support businesses through the lockdown. £4 Billion is to be targeted at the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors, with a £594 million discretionary fund to support other sectors. This has been incorporated into the existing LRSG (Closed) schemes.

One off support payment for restrictions since 22nd October 2020

Awarded on a first come, first served basis until funding allocated.

Domestic businesses, trading on 22 October operating from non-commercial premises, with evidence of fixed business costs and impacted by COVID-19.

Additional Restrictions Grant – Tameside Taxi Licence Holder

 

One off support payment for restrictions since 22nd October 2020

Tameside Taxi Licence Holders

Tameside Taxi Licence Holders who live outside the borough are eligible

Tameside residents who hold a licence with another local authority may be eligible so long as they haven’t received any funding from the other

Restart grant

 

 

 

One-off grant funding available to help businesses reopen safely as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

Businesses in the non-essential retail, hospitality, leisure, personal care and accommodation sectors
