Stacia Ward, Director of Stacia Star Studios, has been in Majorette world since the age of four. Stacia received her extensive background of twirling when she was under the direction of her mother who was her Music Teacher & Jr. High and High School Band Director. Stacia’s Mother had her trained by a few Featured Twirlers that twirled for Grambling State University & the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Stacia twirled up to the age of eighteen.
Upon entering college, she became a member of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South Band dance team, as an M4 Golden Girl all four years of college. She choreographed routines during her last two years as she served as Captain. Stacia not only use her skills for the dance line, she also choreographed the 1997 Miss. UAPB Coronation Ball. She is also a spring 1999 initiate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and currently active with the Delta Omega Omega Chapter.
After completing college with a degree in Business Administration, Stacia is the Director of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Fitness Center. She is also a certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer where she implements her fitness skills at Stacia Star Fitness, JRMC Wellness Center and Fitness Coach for UAPB current M4 Golden Girls Dance Team. She enjoys inspiring her community to find the motivation to improve and maintain their fitness levels. Stacia also finds great satisfaction to see her dancers keep their bodies strong, flexible, and cores tight to avoid injuries.
Stacia has been the Dance Coach at Broadmoor Elementary Drill Team, Jack Robey Jr. High, Coordinator of Flawless All Starz Community Dance Team. Stacia feels deeply about sharing her over 20 years of knowledge and experience with her students. She is hoping her passion for dance is contagious and motivating, shown in the energy that emanates throughout everything that she does. She looks forward to sharing her mentorship, education and the gift of love for dance with the next generation.
