Guy Copperthite

Senior Vice President, Guy Copperthite, has spent his career advising both tenants and landlords on leasing and sales transactions for office and industrial properties throughout suburban Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region.

Guy joined Transwestern in 1983. Some of his most prominent clients have included Aspen Systems Corporation (now Lockheed Martin), Aspen Publishers, Treatment & Learning Centers, Lippincott, Boeing, Blackstone Realty Advisors, The JBG Companies, Boston Properties, Glenborough Realty Trust, Monument Realty, LaSalle Investment Management, Morgan Stanley, Gale & Wentworth, Quadrangle Corporation, AMB Institutional Realty Advisors, Butera/Matan Companies, MIG Realty Advisors, Prudential, Equitable Life, Citicorp, American Real Estate Partners, The Davis Companies, Paine Webber, Equus Capital Partners, American Realty Advisors,  Unibail Rodamco Westfield, Principal Realty Investors and The Chevy Chase Land Company.

 

He served as Transwestern’s Director of Marketing from 1988-1994, during which time he helped Transwestern grow its leasing and property management portfolio from 9 million square feet to 16 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Guy earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Maryland - 1981.
