Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC (Advancing Justice | AAJC) submitted a comment in response to the request for input on the National Security Presidential Memorandum (NSPM-33) implementation guidance by Director Eric Lander on behalf of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). We provided implementation guidance recommendations and expressed our concerns about the mass profiling and discriminatory investigations and prosecutions of Asian American and Asian immigrant scientists, researchers, and scholars, particularly of Chinese descent. This conduct is ruining lives and having a broader chilling effect on the Asian American and Asian immigrant community.
