The Crafoord Days 2022

Welcome to the Crafoord Days 2022 in Lund, three days of  Prize lectures, Prize symposia and a Prize ceremony in celebration of the 2020 Crafoord Laureates in Mathematics and Astronomy, Enrico Bombieri and Eugene N. Parker (1927-2022), the 2021 Crafoord Laureate in Polyarthritis, Daniel L. Kastner, and the 2022 Crafoord Laureate in Geosciences, Andrew Knoll.

The Crafoord Prize is one of the major international science prizes and is awarded in partnership between the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Crafoord Foundation in Lund. The Academy is responsible for selecting the laureates. The disciplines are selected as a complement to the Nobel Prize; they alternate every year, between mathematics and astronomy, geosciences, biosciences and polyarthritis. 

During the Crafoord Days, 25-27th of April in Lund, the Laureates in Mathematics and Astronomy 2020, the Crafoord Laureate in Polyarthritis 2021 and the Crafoord Laureate in Geosciences 2022 will be celebrated:

The Crafoord Prize is awarded in partnership between the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Crafoord Foundation in Lund. The Academy is responsible for selecting the Crafoord Laureates.
