Our English Education program equips students for successful, impactful careers in language arts instruction at the middle and high school level. Students benefit from courses in literature, writing, and pedagogy, as well as classroom observations and student teaching experiences. Whether you’re considering teaching in a public or private school context, at home or abroad, our program is designed to help you discern and fulfill God’s call to serve others through education while deepening your own appreciation for the written word. The English Education Program at Grace College is Nationally Recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).

The English Education Program at Grace College is aligned to, and has been reviewed by, the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the Specialized Professional Association (SPA) for English Education. As a result of the SPA review process, the English Education Program is Nationally Recognized by NCTE through 2/01/2028.
