Grace College Scholarships and Grants
At Grace, you’ll find people that care about you…and your budget. Grace College scholarships and grants are offered to 100% of our full-time traditional undergraduate students. It’s just one of the ways of Grace!
Academic Scholarships*
*effective for students entering Fall 2024
Your hard work in high school was worth it! You will automatically receive an academic scholarship based on your high school GPA when admission is granted.

*Academic scholarships can be increased through March 1 of the senior year when an updated transcript is submitted.

Incoming first-time freshmen visit and interview on campus for additional scholarship opportunities. All student scholars that participate receive a minimum $1,000 per year scholarship. To learn more, go to www.grace.edu/scholar or talk with your Admissions Counselor.
Amount of Awards
- 1 President’s Scholarships – Full tuition
- 4 Trustee Scholarships – $100,000($25,000 per year)
- 8 Faculty Scholarships – $80,000 ($20,000 per year)
- 12 McClain Scholarships – $64,000 ($16,000 per year)
- Winona Merit Scholarships – $4,000 ($1,000 per year added to merit scholarship)
**At each of the four Presidential Scholarship Days, the following scholarships will be decided within one week of the event date: 1 Trustee Scholarship, 2 Faculty Scholarships, 3 McClain Scholarships. Each student scholar that competes receives a minimum $1,000 per year in additional scholarship. One full-tuition President’s Scholarship will be selected from the four event dates following the final Presidential Scholarship Day.

- 3.75 GPA
- Top 20% class rank
- Score 1230 SAT or 26 ACT

Eligibility Criteria
- Adjusted Gross Income ≤ $60,000 as calculated by the FAFSA
- Must be an Indiana resident with a 3.0 GPA
- Must be accepted and full tuition awarded by May 1. Case-by-case consideration after May 1
Renewability
- Must complete the FAFSA by the Indiana state deadline annually
- Renewable based on academic good standing at the end of each year

- Up to $1,000 matching ($2,000 total) if church participation and student roster are submitted by February 28
- Up to $500 matching ($1,000 total) if church participation and student roster are submitted after February 28 and before August 1

- Athletic scholarships are available for baseball, bowling, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, esports, fishing, golf, rugby, shooting sports, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball

Federal & State Aid
Federal and state governments determine your eligibility for financial aid with the FAFSA. After October 1 of your senior year, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. Remember to file your FAFSA before the Indiana deadline of April 15!

- The U.S. Department of Education pays the interest on a Direct Subsidized Loan while the student is enrolled.
- The student is responsible for paying the interest on a Direct Unsubsidized Loan during all periods.

Please note that both loans provide a six month “grace period” after finishing school before repayment begins. Deferments are provided to qualifying individuals. Learn more about these common loans for college. -

More Information
- Federal work-study and other student positions on campus provide part-time employment while a student is enrolled that allows a student to prioritize education and earn significant funds.
- Financial need is not required for student positions on campus.
- Students can work up to 20 hours per week while classes are in session. Additional hours can be worked during school breaks.
- Requires application to one of 400+ student positions on campus.
- Students are paid per hour and the paycheck can be directly deposited to a bank account or student account.

Additional Information
At Grace, 100% of our students receive financial aid. We are committed to making college affordable and providing you the best resources to get the help you need. High school guidance offices and libraries often have the best resources for local opportunities. Students and parents may qualify for employer assistance, veterans benefits or other outside assistance. All students who receive outside aid must notify the Office of Financial Aid.
Institutional scholarships require a student to maintain full-time enrollment and are limited to eight semesters (four years) of eligibility. Generally, institutional financial aid and outside scholarships cannot exceed the cost of attendance. Grace College reserves the right to reduce institutional aid in the event that a combination of federal, state, and institutional gift aid exceeds tuition.
