Supporting Matt Willoughby's family in their grief

Matt Willoughby, a man who lived his life with enthusiasm and integrity, passed away suddenly, leaving behind his loving wife of 19 years, Jennifer, and their three children, son Samuel, age 17, a junior and daughter Mason, 14 who is a freshman at Clover High School and daughter Connor, who turned 12 on January 7. She is in 6th grade at Oakridge Middle School .

Matt's love for his family was always first in his heart. 

Matt's passion for horticulture was virtually unmatched, and his relationships with his breeders, customers and vendors were all built upon his sincere desire to help others and create personal connections and mutually beneficial opportunities. He always put people first and was a kind, loyal friend to so many. 

An Alabama native, Matt grew up  working from a young age in his father's greenhouses and retail garden center. He was a true plantsman and is highly respected in the floriculture industry as a person of deep knowledge, commitment to quality and service and a trusted partner. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and his co-workers, customers and partners at Vaughan's Horticulture.

Matt was 45 years old at the time of his passing.
