Following the vision of our volunteer leadership, ASA is excited to offer the new VITALITY Growth Assessment Tool – a game changing tool that will challenge you to think differently about your business and assist you in positioning your company to compete in the future. Even more exciting, through the significant investment from both ASA and the ASA Education Foundation, this tool, which generates a confidential report specific to your company, is being provided on a complimentary basis. to Help You Confidentially Assess Your Readiness for Growth and Success in the Future ASA’s VITALITY Growth Assessment Tool, offered by NewEdge, will challenge you to think differently about your company and its positioning for the future. It will help identify your company’s strengths and weaknesses, along with areas to invest in for your company’s future goals.

How it Works Each company that opts to participate in the Growth Readiness Assessment will receive access to a confidential survey link, which will guide the discovery process as you share information about your business’ current approach to growth and future-state planning. This survey can be distributed to the very highest-level decision-makers, all the way down to your front-line workers. Once you’ve submitted feedback from your stakeholders, a confidential, company-specific Growth Assessment Report will be generated, which will give you the insight and benchmarking to understand your positioning for future growth. Whether you face a potential merger or acquisition, or simply need to get serious about strategic planning, this multi-faceted report will give you the 50,000-foot view of your company’s readiness state for future change and growth.

The Solution ASA’s VITALITY Growth Assessment Tool is a confidential assessment and reporting tool that can help you identify your company’s strengths and weaknesses and discover ways to build a strong strategy to help you compete. Based on your confidential input, you will receive a private report generated by NewEdge, ASA’s third-party partner. NewEdge is a growth-strategy and innovation firm that helps start-ups to Fortune 100 companies accelerate their growth through evaluations and programs and take companies to the next level. This tool was built from insights across 300+ companies, including ASA member companies. It maps out the step-by-step journey toward true growth readiness so that you can see where you are and provide concrete actions to take you to the next level. This game changing approach challenges you to think differently about your business and position your company and team to win in the future.

Who in Your Company Should Take This Assessment? Every employee has a unique perspective as to the effectiveness, capability, and readiness of your company. There will be two assessments available - one is for your entire team and has 6 questions, the other is for your leadership team and has 26 questions. You will receive up to 100 seats for the larger team and 10 seats for your executives. If you would like a larger group to take this assessment you may purchase additional logins. Ultimately it is your choice!


To Get Started Head over to the asa.net/BuildingOneFuture/VITALITY webpage and click on the VITALITY Growth Assessment button. There, you’ll find more information about the goals of the project, along with the steps to complete your company’s registration form for access to your confidential survey link and subsequent report. Before jumping in, be sure to nominate a “Business Champion” who will act as point of contact for the initiative and will also be asked to fill out the initial registration form to participate. This will include submitting contact information for key input stakeholders and answering a few demographic questions to help fine-tune your outcomes. Upon submission of the completed registration form, all registered participants will be sent an email with a confidential link to take the assessment.

Key Things to Keep in Mind: To get a full spectrum analysis of your company’s growth readiness, it’s important to include a broad sampling of individuals within your company who are responsible for, accountable to, and contributors of your company’s growth strategy. The participants you select will fall into 2 different groups, as indicated by your Business Champion: • Executive Assessment: The first group (max 10 individuals) will receive the Executive Assessment. This group should include high-level decision-makers such as the CEO, Vice Presidents, Executive Directors, Senior Management, etc. This assessment will consist of 26 in-depth questions, appropriate for their functional level. • Company-Wide Assessment: The second group (max 100 individuals) will take the Company-Wide Assessment. This group should include other individuals at your business, such as Managers, Mid-Level Employees, Front-Line Staff, and others. This assessment will be shorter, with only 6 questions that will focus on how the business has communicated its growth strategies to this level of employee.

What You Get

A Confidential Assessment Report Approximately 2 weeks after your your company completes the VITALITY Growth Assessment you will receieve a customized confidential report that demonstrates your organization’s vitality, alignment and interest. Your personalized Growth Assessment Report will also give insight into your strengths and weaknesses – and recommendations for how to utilize key tools and resources to shift your ability to grow into the future.
