Curating mutually beneficial partnerships and strengthening the university's impact on the nonprofit community through professional networking, leadership development, and information sharing.

UWG's Office of Public Service and Outreach houses the administrative functions of the WGNPN, with the initial focus on three primary activities:

  • creating and maintaining a database of WGNPN organizations,
  • managing a listserve where representatives of WGNPN organizations can communicate with each other, and
  • organizing opportunities for development and networking for the member organizations.

Thank you to our generous sponsors, Alice Huffard Richards Fund and the UWG Newnan Foundation, who make it possible to provide opportunities for development and networking to our region's nonprofit organizations.

"The West Georgia Nonprofit Network has been a tremendous help to Keep Carroll Beautiful. The WGNPN has assisted with various staff development and networking opportunities, kept us updated on various sources of funding available to nonprofits and provided the support necessary to review and update our organizational policies in preparation for our application for the National Standards for Excellence certification. The WGNPN has, and continues to be, a valuable resource for the nonprofit organizations in the West Georgia region."
