Katrina English continues her second year at the helm of the University of Arkansas at Monticello women's volleyball program for the 2023 season after being announced as the head coach on April 1, 2022.

Hud Jackson announced the hiring of
Katrina English as the sixth head volleyball coach in program history. English will lead Monticello's program after spending this past season as the Head Men's and Women's Volleyball Coach at Kentucky State University.
English returned to at Kentucky State University in Spring 2021 as the Head Men and Women's Head Volleyball Coach. She led the Men's Program through their Spring 2021 Covid-19 season and in the Fall 2021 season the Women's Team finished tied for second in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 15-3 record. In her initial year in 2017, she won the 2017 SIAC Women's Volleyball Tournament Conference and earned the Tournament Coach of the Year honor. The team honors consisted of players receiving the Tournament MVP Player, Tournament Setter of the Year, three All-Conference honors, and four All-Conference Academic players. The Women's team secured a spot in the 2017 NCAA Division II Regional playoffs. English was named Kentucky State University's 2017-2018 Coach of the Year.
"I am enthusiastic and focused about the opportunity to build with the UAM Family and Community" said English.

Before her initial arrival at Kentucky State University, was the Head Coach at NJCAA Division I Temple College from the 2013-2017 seasons. During that time, her teams advanced to the NJCAA Region V Conference Tournament annually and honored in 2013 and 2014 as the NJCAA Region V Conference Runner-up.
In 2021 she also held the responsibility of being the inaugural Head Coach of the Men's Volleyball Team at Kentucky State University.
English had stints at St. Gregory's University and Long Island University.
She is a native Texan and completed her collegiate career at Houston Baptist University in the early 2000s, as she was named All-Region Team in 2002 and All-Conference Team in both 2002 and 2003. In 2005, she graduated from HBU with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and English. She also has a master's degree in Health and Human Performance from The University of the Southwest.
