Join us for an evening of food, fun, and friendly competition in support of our local community and beyond!

The Portage County Literacy Council is happy to announce our annual Words and Friends for Literacy community fundraising event where teams of four gather and show off their literacy skills in a friendly scrabble competition. Teams register and play together. Dinner and soft drinks will be provided and a cash bar available.

Gifts and Prizes
Last year we asked participants to bring items for our white elephant prize table. It was such a hit that we are going to it again! Bring one of your past treasures to our prize table, encouraged but not required.

Dinner includes: Broasted Chicken, Baked Beans, Scalloped Potatoes, Dinner Rolls, Soda, Coffee, and Cookies. If you are interested in a vegetarian option, please indicate so on the online registration form…or give us a call.
