Tell us about it -- If you have been the subject of or witness to an exclusion or bias incident or concern, please complete the following form. The College’s Cougar Inclusion Team (CIT) takes bias and exclusion allegations seriously. We are committed to responding to reports in a timely manner. Submitting information about such incidents is crucial in helping the College of Charleston monitor and appropriately respond to activity that has the potential to negatively impact the diversity and well-being of our community.
Any one entering a report will be asked if they want to be contacted and offered assistance by a member of the Cougar Inclusion Team.
We cannot guarantee an immediate response, so do not use this form for emergency situations. In the case of an emergency, please dial 911 or call the Department of Public Safety at 843.953.5609.
Important Note: As the CIT’s purpose is to provide education and foster an inclusive community, it does not conduct investigations or impose any discipline. Concerns of possible discrimination or harassment will be shared with the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs for review and further action, as appropriate. Concerns of violations of any College policy will be shared with the appropriate office.
*Please do not report incidents of Sexual Misconduct, unlawful Discrimination/Harassment, or accessibility related concerns to the CIT. You may make these types of reports to the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs (eop@cofc.edu or 843-953-5754).
