Every student should have the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research. The Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry (URCI) will embed student research as part of the fabric of the College and empower students to explore and engage in hands-on research with faculty mentorship. URCI will encourage students to learn about their field of interest and gain practical experience for their careers and post-graduate education. It will create an environment for undergraduates to contribute to the College’s intellectual property and will propel the College of Charleston forward as a nationally preeminent undergraduate institution.
