The East 131st Street Branch offers free wifi and public computers with Internet access. Printing, copying, scanning, and faxing services are available for a fee. Free parking is available across the street.
History & Architecture
This gorgeous, historic branch is 14,100 square feet and is located in Cleveland’s Corlett neighborhood. One of the many Cleveland Public Library branches designed by local architecture firm Walker & Weeks, East 131st Street opened in 1929 and was renovated in 1979.
Special Features
The East 131st Street Branch is unique due to its many community partnerships, including The First Street Coalition and Mt. Pleasant MyCom.
In partnership with Mt. Pleasant MyCom, this branch offers a Resource Closet for teens and families. The closet provides gloves, hats, socks, household cleaning products, and toiletries such as body wash, lotion, and more.
