Goal 3 of Cal State Fullerton’s 2018-2023 University Strategic Plan
calls for “assessing and adjusting effectiveness of current programs to enhance the support for faculty teaching, scholarly and creative activities, and service.” Funded by the CSU Chancellor’s Office, the Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (RSCA) award program is designed to support this goal and encourages grant applications for new or continued faculty engagement in pursuit of external funding.
All full-time faculty members, full-time lecturers, coaches, counselors and librarians (bargaining Unit 3 employees) are invited to submit proposals. This competitive, peer-reviewed program welcomes proposals from either collaborative teams or a single investigator, although interdisciplinary and collaborative ideas, project design or methodologies are strongly encouraged.
