About Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club

Dedicated to teaching and fostering the sport of sailing among people young and old, the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club was founded in 1882 and remains the only dinghy club in the world with a royal designation (its current royal charter having been bestowed by Queen Elizabeth II in 1953). The club offers sailing lessons for juniors and adults, and runs regattas year round. Its offices are located on the south side of Hamilton Harbour in Paget, where it also has a restaurant and bar, open for lunch every day except Monday.
