Congress has a once in a generation opportunity to pass transformational legislation with the investments we need for climate, clean energy, justice, and jobs. And today, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) shared again its top priorities for the Build Back Better Act, highlighting what is included in the House package.

It is crucial that we set our nation firmly on the path to cut climate pollution in half by 2030 in a just and equitable way so that we can avoid the worst effects of climate change. Currently, the Build Back Better Act includes the climate, conservation, and environmental justice provisions necessary to accomplish that science-based goal. We urge Congress to pass the Climate Test and swiftly finalize, pass, and send the Build Back Better Act to President Biden, which will create a more clean, just, and equitable future for all.
