Battle Cry is a solo play by Matt Fox, based on the true story of a former soldier, Adam, struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The play follows Adam as he recounts his experiences in war, the horrors he witnessed, and the heavy toll this took on him. Battle Cry is a powerful and moving exploration of the human cost of war, and a reminder of the devastating impact PTSD can have on those who experience it.

Battle Cry is a challenging and thought-provoking play which has been received to universal acclaim by both veteran and non-veteran audiences.

A post-show talk will take place after each performance. Tip Cullen, Plymouth based veteran and professional actor, will sit on the panel for the Thursday performance. Mark Ormrod will sit on the panel for the Friday performance. Kay Thomas, specialist mental health nurse from Op Courage, will be participating in all panel discussions.
