Rail In London Event

The Rail In London Event will cover transport and policy issues facing the Capital and wider South East, ahead of the Mayoral and London Assembly elections.

Laura Osborne, Director of Strategic Communications and Campaigns, London First

Laura is a director, business adviser and author, with a background in corporate public affairs, government communications and campaigning. She is Communications Director at London First, the capital’s business group, which works to make London the best place in the world to do business. Previously, Laura was Communications Director at the publishing and campaigning group Which? She is a Non-Executive Director at public transport advocate London TravelWatch and in her spare time, co-hosts the Changed my Mind podcast.

 






Rob Dickin, Transport Strategy Manager, Transport for the South East

Rob Dickin has been working for Transport for the South East (TfSE) since November 2018.  He has 14 years’ experience as a Transport Planner, with experience in promoting sustainable transport use, and developing successful bids for funding.

Rob is currently leading on engagement with the rail industry, as well as project managing the development of a Future Mobility Strategy for the south east.  He is also leading on the development of a south central radial area study, which will identify schemes, infrastructure and policy required on the Brighton Mainline/M23/A23 corridor, to help realise the vision for 2050 identified in the TfSE Transport Strategy published in July 2020.
