QComm is your go-to resource for your station’s REPACK needs! We can help make your repack a smooth transition and maximize your repack project reimbursements.

QComm would like to offer our services to your station. The costs of our services are 100% reimbursable as part of the forced channel relocation. Through our management services, our clients have been reimbursed over $35 Million of project costs.

From answering RFIs to financial reconciliation - we provide creative solutions to stations with unique situations.

Telecom

The Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program, dubbed “Rip & Replace,” is a government-subsidized infrastructure program enforced by the FCC through the Secure Networks Act of 2019.

Unlike prior FCC reimbursement programs, Rip & Replace also addresses a matter of national security by targeting the removal of Huawei and ZTE equipment from communications networks and replacing it with "trusted" equipment. Rip & Replace primarily affects carriers in rural areas.

Congress introduced multiple deadlines and procedural requirements that the FCC and WCB have clarified in recent months. One such requirement is that carriers are required to complete the removal, displacement and disposal of covered communications equipment within a year.

The Airborne Division utilizes proven signal verification and coverage mapping technology to capture the characterizations of antenna systems. This system allows measurements of Horizontal Radiation Patterns (HRP), Vertical Radiation Patterns (VRP), Effective Radiated Patterns (ERP), polarization discriminations and many other specific modulation parameters while providing overall uncertainties in the order of 1-2dB.

A wide variety of services can be utilized by broadcast and telecom providers for verifications, inspections, and 3D mapping. Check out our full list of services by clicking the button below.
