Look up funding rate changes and provider closures in your constituency

We know that substantial investment into the early years is urgently needed to ensure the long-term viability of the sector. Without this, fees for parents will continue to increase, the recruitment and retention crisis in the sector will worsen and many more nurseries, pre-schools and childminding settings will be forced to close.

To help illustrate why greater funding for the sector is needed, and to help support the local lobbying efforts of early years providers, the Early Years Alliance has compiled updated constituency level data on funding changes since 2017 (the introduction of the Early Years National Funding Formula, and the 30-hour early entitlement offer) and provider closures over the same period.

To see this information, simply choose the relevant parliamentary constituency from the drop-down menu below (to reduce the need to scroll, you can click on 'Select Constituency' and then type the first letter of your constituency).

Providers and parents: if you aren't sure which constituency your early years setting is based in, you can find out here.

Please note that we have unfortunately not been able to include constituencies based in the local authorities of North Northamptonshire, West Northamptonshire and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, as they have changed in recent years and so data from 2017 is not comparable to today's data.

In addition, a small number of constituencies are situated in more than one local authority. If the information provided for your constituency below does not coincide with your correct local authority, please contact feedback@eyalliance.org.uk and we'll be happy to provide the relevant data.
