More than 500 attendees gathered at Chocolate World to celebrate the 2023 United Way of the Capital Region’s Campaign on Tuesday evening, and there was much to celebrate: ➡ Over $8.9 million was raised, which exceeded our goal of $8.7 million and the 2022 campaign results. These funds will help make a difference in the United Way’s critical areas of focus: access to health care, basic needs, school readiness and workforce development. ➡ McNees was recognized in the United Way’s Pillar Society, which is comprised of 15 organizations that donated $100,000 or more. These organizations made up almost half of the entire campaign. ➡ We received a “Best of” Award for Professional Services participants. Special thanks to Brian Jackson, Adam Long, Jim Clancy, Mark Hipple and Dawn Harlacher for your unwavering support! It is always a joy to give back, but it is even more special when the impact is this big. Thank you to all who participated and to the United Way for all you do for those in need!
