Lace up your sneakers and get ready for an exhilarating adventure as the Space Foundation Discovery Center kicks off a new Summer of Discovery: The Science of Sport!

We’ll be off to the races in style with our biggest exhibit kickoff event ever! Join our staff and community partners for a block party and get a hands-on sneak peek at this summer’s exciting new workshops. Build up your energy with our fabulous food partners or cool down and enjoy the special late hours of the Discovery Center as you check out our new exhibit. Whether you are Jessie Owens or Neil Armstrong, there’s a galaxy of fun to be had for the whole family. Discovery Center Kickoff activities included in SFDC General Admission. Note: Admission to the event does not include food truck offerings.

Up for more? Join us earlier in the day at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center for a Family 5K of galactic proportions (and fun)! If you register to participate in the 5K, you’ll receive 50% your admission to the Summer of Discovery Kickoff Block Party.
