What is
ScienceFest?
Over 8,000 enthusiastic science enthusiasts flood the streets of downtown Los Alamos every year in July to celebrate ScienceFest! From July 12th to July 16th, 2024, this vibrant event, a collaboration between the Los Alamos MainStreet, Los Alamos County, and numerous other local organizations, showcases the power and excitement of scientific exploration. Concerts, Play Crawls, markets and interactive events are the heart of ScienceFest!
With a multitude of events spread across the city, attendees of all ages can expect to be captivated by hands-on experiments, lectures, and interactive exhibits. From budding young scientists to seasoned researchers, ScienceFest brings together a diverse community eager to celebrate the marvels of science.
The Los Alamos ScienceFest is made possible by the dedication of Los Alamos MainStreet and the generous support of sponsors such as Los Alamos National Labs, the Fuller Lodge Arts Council, Los Alamos County, and many others, whose contributions ensure the success of this extraordinary event.
In 2024, ScienceFest will take place on Saturday, July 12-16th at various location around downtown Los Alamos.
