Ryerson University’s School of Graphic Communications Management held their annual GCM Awards Night in Toronto on November 13. Members of the Canon Canada team had the pleasure of attending the event to present two Canon awards for academic achievement.

The evening brought together over 200 students, their families and friends, industry professionals and faculty members to celebrate the students’ achievements from the previous academic year. Several awards, including the two from Canon, were presented to the students, totaling approximately $125,000 in scholarships.

“The generous contributions by organizations and donors, like Canon, make such a difference for the students,” says Jason Lisi, Chair of the School of Graphic Communications Management. “It shows them just how committed organizations like this are to graphic communications education and to moving the industry forward.”
