The employee population is getting smaller and more diverse. The organizations that will succeed are the organizations that compete with themselves (and by extension other companies) to improve the employee and candidate experience for everyone.

Nail on the head when you mentioned ‘create workplaces where everyone belongs’ ☝🏼 can be a very daunting task if you try to micromanage belonging. However, creating an environment of belonging can be quite simple if you don’t get caught up in the complexity of what that means and create space for humans to do what humans do best Connect & Collaborate Just by creating experiences where employees can cross-functionally connect and collaborate, organizations can expect to get: ☝🏼 innovation ☝🏼 employee engagement ☝🏼 higher retention ☝🏼 belonging As leaders, we don’t think enough about the importance of providing cross-functional collaborative opportunities that allow employees to grow their networks.
