#HRProfessionals have made strides in addressing #MentalHealth in the workplace, but we still have a long way to go. #MentalHealthDays and #CounselingBenefits are great, but are they enough? What initiatives has your workplace made to address mental health?

I agree with ALL this, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention the mounting mental health issue amongst HR professionals are of paramount importance! 🤐 We're great at giving guidance to those in our workforce, BUT we don't utilize that same advice for many reasons! 😔 When thinking of others, remember you can't sufficiently care for others until you care for yourself! A lesson I am learning in Real Time!🥰

Our insights from CEO and CHRO's tell us that MH makes the top of their strategic pillars list Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP. The ways in which they're addressing that need varies - a lot. And honestly, at this stage in the game I think that's good news. It's proof positive that there's recognition a one size fits all approach to MH isn't the approach - it's many solutions, combined to create an offering that just might help drive better MH for all - sooner rather than later. Next issue = #accessibilityforall Thanks for creating the place for this conversation!

Love seeing companies provide assistance for their employees regarding mental health. Just like physical health, our mental health is a personal responsibility. A responsibility when we practice daily prevents terminal illness. Great list! I would add other dynamics, as well! Mental health does not need to be heavy! Personal growth and healing is also freeing and fun! For instance, laughing is possible! Woohoo! Right Johnny?

I agree with you, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP! Mental health has become a concern in the workplace. Hence, the need to assist all employees and address mental health should not be a one-time occurrence. It's promising to see so many HR professionals always focusing on it.
